Springtime Success for Sellers!

UK property giant Rightmove recently released their latest market statistics finding that, this springtime sellers are set for a sustained high demand for their property.

Previously, the rising level of demand stemmed from people’s desires to move into bigger properties in the suburbs, however, since the end of COVID-19 the demand in inner cities has been steadily rising once again.

Rightmove’s House Price Index reports another new price record, with the average price of property entering the market showing a 1.7% rise.

The average price rise is said to “be stoked by the greatest imbalance between buyer demand and the number of properties available”, supporting that 2022 is seeing one of the strongest spring markets for sellers ever recorded.

Rightmove’s Director of Property Data, Tim Bannister, suggested that power buyers are “more likely to get the property they want” due to “fierce competition against other buyers.
